FIREWORKS CELEBRATION & FIRE FOR WATER

Fire for Water is a 2-day music festival to benefit clean-water projects in Africa, and it’s open to everyone! Hear talented musicians perform and support a great cause. The festival begins with the “Young Stage” (younger bands) on Friday evening at 7 PM, and the “Main Stage” begins at 3 PM on Saturday, September 4. Bring your friends!

 

Plan to attend SFCC’s 7th annual Fireworks Celebration this Saturday, September 4!* The day starts at 3 PM with live music at Fire for Water, plus inflatables, food vendors, family theatre shows (at 5 & 6:30 PM), and a first-class fireworks show at dusk. Be sure to invite your friends, neighbors, and coworkers to this outstanding community event! Volunteers are needed! Click HERE for great opportunities! For more info, contact kim@salemfields.com.

THIS WEEKEND

Fifteen years ago, God gave Salem Fields Community Church a clear vision—to reach people in the name of Jesus Christ.  As a result, tens of thousands of people have encountered Him, whether they've realized it or not!  This weekend, the vision will once again be lived out through Fire for Water and the annual Fireworks Celebration. The celebration continues on Sunday* morning at the 9 & 11 AM worship venues as we focus on how that vision is being made sight through the Body of Christ at SFCC.
 
*There will not be a worship venue on Saturday, September 4 at 6:30 PM.

BOUNCE & PLAY

Parents of preschoolers: Rubicon Café has a fun place for you and your kids each Wednesday from 11 AM to 1 PM: Bounce & Play! A “bounce house” is in the café each week, along with a special activity (craft projects on September 8!). Rubicon will also offer a free kids’ meal with the purchase of each adult lunch entrée. Make sure to tell your neighbors and friends about Bounce & Play at Rubicon! Everyone is welcome, and all activities are free! For more info, contact sharono@salemfields.com.

Interested in learning about leading a small group at SFCC? Attend an orientation for new leaders on Saturday, Sept 18 at 5 PM.

Interactive Fall Training Forum for Small Group Leaders
Current small group leaders: attend a training forum on prayer in small groups on Sunday, Sept 19 at 9 AM.            

ECUADOR TRIP - LAST CALL

 
Travel to Quito, Ecuador December 27, 2010 – January 5, 2011 to fight poverty and Keep Hope Alive for the people of that community. The trip’s registration deadline is Sunday, September 5! To register, submit a $100, nonrefundable deposit and attend an info meeting on September 5 at 10:15 AM. For more info, contact jason@salemfields.com.
