Childhood ambition: It swayed between super hero, artist, and teacher. Oddly enough, my current ambitions are the same.

What was your first job: Unloading trucks for a home furnishings store. Not what you would call a dream job by any means but I can now put a coffee table together like a pro.

What's your favorite snack: Do Chipotle burritos count as snacks?

What does your perfect day look like: Some mixture of family, friends, and music. Throw in an episode of Friends and a Jack's Mannequin concert and it doesn't get much better than that.

Who is your greatest inspiration: Jesus who is my greatest teacher and best friend, my parents who taught me that generosity and character are more fulfilling than anything else, and Andrew McMahon who indirectly taught me that words and music can and should be used as a means for inspiring hope in the darkest of places.

What is your favorite season: Fall. Carving pumpkins might be one of the greatest discoveries in recorded history. I'm just saying.

What is your favorite book: It's a pretty close race between To Kill A Mockingbird and The Great Gatsby. Yeah, I was that kid in high school that loved the assigned reading. Believe it.

What is your favorite hobby: The obvious. Music, writing, art, sports, wrestling bears. Okay the last part might not be true...or is it?

What is something that most people don't know about you: I used to be a deep sea fisherman off the coast of Alaska. Yeah, that's not true but how cool would that have been? I guess I will go with the less exciting yet truthful answer of the fact that I'm an only child. I know, mind blowing right?

If I could have lunch with a famous person, who would it be and why: Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys so that I could learn from one of the greatest song writers of all time. Listen to "God Only Knows" and you will have a difficult time disagreeing with me.
